Who We Are

Tiny Text (tinytext.io) is a free online small text generator — you type text, it converts the characters to Unicode small-text styles, and you copy the result. The site is independently operated. For anything in this policy, email us at support@tinytext.io.

The Text You Type

The text you type into the converter never leaves your browser. Conversion happens entirely on your device with JavaScript — we do not transmit, store, log, or see what you type. There are no accounts and no registration, so we never ask for your name, email address, or any profile information.

What Our Infrastructure Sees

Like almost every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address and standard request data (browser type, pages requested) to deliver pages and block abusive traffic. These server logs are transient and are not used to identify you. We may also review aggregated, non-identifying statistics — for example, how many people visited the site in a week — to understand which pages are useful.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregated site usage, such as page views, session statistics, approximate location, and browser or device type. We do not send the text entered into the converter to Google Analytics.

Outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Analytics stores first-party cookies (such as _ga) on your device to tell returning visits apart. Inside those regions, analytics storage is denied by default: no analytics cookies are set unless you accept the consent banner, and until then Google receives at most cookieless measurement signals. Google processes IP addresses at collection time to derive approximate location and says it discards them before the data is logged. We have also disabled Google signals and ad-personalization signals in the site tag.

Cookies and Local Storage

Beyond the analytics cookies described above, the site sets no tracking cookies of its own. One preference is kept in your browser's local storage: your light-or-dark theme choice. It stays on your device and is never sent anywhere. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

Advertising

We display, or plan to display, ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to show you ads based on your browsing history.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of many other third-party ad cookies at aboutads.info/choices. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a consent banner will ask for your choice before any analytics or advertising cookies are set. You can later reopen it using the Privacy & cookie settings button in the footer.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent any data. The third parties involved in running and measuring the site are our hosting provider (Cloudflare), our analytics provider (Google), and, once ads are live, our advertising partner (Google), each processing only what is described above.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and because we collect no personal information, we do not knowingly hold any data about anyone, children included.

Your Rights

You can use the entire tool with cookies blocked — nothing breaks. If you are in a region with data-protection rights (such as the EEA or UK) and want to exercise them, email support@tinytext.io; note that in almost all cases we hold no data about you to access or delete.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. Material changes to how advertising works will also be reflected in the consent banner.
